One In Critical Condition Following Violent Stabbing

HAGERSTOWN, MD - A stabbing ended with one person in critical condition late Tuesday night, according to Hagerstown Police.

WHAG News is now learning that the violent incident was fueled by domestic abuse.

Authorities say Christopher Brown was stabbed in the upper torso by Ashley Ricketts at a home on West Franklin Street.

Ricketts claimed she was fighting to get a hold of a knife from Brown.

She has now been charged with assault and possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure.
