Police: Active Foot Patrol Leads to Cocaine Arrest

FREDERICK, Md. - A man is behind bars after officers with the Frederick Police Department say he was found with suspected crack cocaine in his possession. 

Police say on May 7, 2014 Officer Gunder was on foot in the area of South Jefferson Street and West South Street when he observed a suspicious man, identified as Irvin Eugene Bright. 

Bright was wanted through the Frederick County Sheriff's Office for Circuit Court "Failure to Arrive". Police found six small rocks of suspected crack cocaine in Bright's possession. 

Bright was transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. He's charged with possession of CDS Schedule II, to wit cocaine.
