Police Urging Residents to Keep An Eye Out For Suspicious Man

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. - In Frederick, police are asking parents to listen up when it comes to sending their kids off to school.

he police department wants to make the community aware of a suspicious man who reportedly approached a mother walking her child to school Wednesday morning in the area of Center Street and Scholl's Lane.

The person of interest is described as a white man, about 5'10" with short gray hair and a grayish-blond beard.  He was wearing a black jacket with a plaid shirt underneath.

The mother who encountered this man, said he made sexual comments and referenced liking young girls. The suspect then continued to follow the mother and her daughter.
