Pool Closed After Broken Glass Found

FREDERICK - People won't be able to cool off in Frederick's city swimming pool over the weekend.

Frederick City Police say someone found broken glass in the Edward P. Thomas Memorial Pool on Fleming Avenue Thursday morning.

The pool was immediately shut down. It will be drained and cleaned, and will be closed through Sunday.

Police are still trying to figure out if it was an accident or a malicious act.
