Reports of Incident at Bester Elementary Unfounded

HAGERSTOWN, Md. – Police responded to Bester Elementary School in Hagerstown Monday afternoon after dispatchers received reports of some type of incident. However, officers quickly cleared the scene saying there was no evidence anything had occurred.

Initially, dispatchers said they received reports of some sort of incident involving parents who were at the school to pick up their children.

Around 3:00 p.m. a number of police officers were visible outside the school. They cleared the scene around 3:20 p.m.
