Residents Left Without Water From Water Main Break

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Shepherdstown residents are without water Wednesday evening after a water main break along a local roadway.

The flooding is reported to be mainly in front of a house on Fairmont Avenue. Neighbors in the area told WHAG many homes are completely without water.

Crews on the scene say they do not think water will be restored until around 8 or 9 p.m.

They say they are still trying to locate the pipe that is leaking.

Crews are attributing the water main break to cold temperatures.
