Flood Stage: 16.0 Feet
River Forecast: Moderate Flooding is possible - River going to 23.5 feet into Early Saturday before beginning to receed. Major flood stage for the Potomac River at Point of Rocks begins at 25.0 feet.
Location 4: Potomac River at Little Falls affecting Loudoun and Fairfax Counties, VA and Montgomery County, MD
Flood Stage: 10.0 Feet
River Forecast: Minor flooding is possible - River going slightly above 10.0 feet into Early Saturday before beginning to receed.
A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for the entire viewing area through Friday Afternoon/Evening, as we are anticipating 2-4" of rain to fall across the region, starting this afternoon and lasting overnight into the first half of Friday.
