Several Reports of Shots Fired in Frederick

FREDERICK, Md. - Officers with the Frederick City Police Department say they received several reports of shots fired within the city Friday afternoon. 

The incident was reported around 1:04 p.m. near the 1000 block of Keswick Place. 

Upon arrival officers and detectives were notified that an unoccupied, parked vehicle had been hit by gunfire. The vehicle that was struck is not believed to have been involved in the incident. 

Neighbors reported to police they heard an argument, prior to the shots being fired, and several black men were seen running from the area. No further description of the possible suspects are known at this time, police say. 

No one is believed to have been struck by the gunfire.
