Suspicious Package Temporarily Shuts Down Bank

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. - A bomb threat at a local bank in Chambersburg forced an evacuation and temporarily shut down the branch Tuesday afternoon. 

It happened around 4 p.m. at the Susquehanna Bank along Lincoln Way West. A bomb squad was on scene investigating a suspicious package that was located at the front of the bank behind a bush. 

Local authorities said nothing was found, but an investigation is ongoing.
