Three Airlifted to Hospital After Horse and Buggy Collided with SUV

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. - A serious accident on Paxon Run Road sent three to the hospital via helicopter late Sunday night.

Pennsylvania State Police say a horse and buggy pulled out in front of an SUV traveling westbound on the roadway, causing a collision.

All three people in the horse and buggy sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to Hershey Medical Center, according to police. 

The driver of the SUV and one other person in the vehicle were unharmed.

The accident remains under investigation.
