Officials say James Willard Johnson, also known as "Bum", 38, of Martinsburg, Eddie Young II, also known as "Bobo", 39, of Martinsburg and Navarre Sowell, 37, of Hagerstown were named in an eight-count indictment charging them with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and distributing more than 28 grams of crack cocaine.
Officials say Johnson is named in seven additional counts, charging him with five counts of distribution of crack cocaine, and two counts of distribution of more than 28 grams of crack cocaine. Young is named in an additional count of distribution of crack cocaine.
Each face up to 40 years in prison on conspiracy and distribution related charges, and up to 20 years in prison on each of the distribution charges.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, they're also seeking forfeit currency which was seized from defendants on June 13, 2013.
This case was investigated by the Eastern Panhandle Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
