FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. - Deputies with the Frederick County Sheriff's Office Patrol Team 1 arrested two people this week on numerous drug charges.

On Monday, April 14 around 9 p.m. members say they conducted a traffic stop along Interstate-70 westbound near Route 85 after observing a driver commit two moving violations.

While in contact with the occupants, deputies say they saw behavior that led them to believe they may be in possession of drugs. A drug sniffing dog conducted a check of the vehicle, and alerted to the odor of narcotics inside.

A search revealed a plastic bag containing heroin, needles, and metal spoons. Both occupants, Leanne Jones, 29, of Hagerstown, Md., and Christopher Biser, 35, of Waynesboro, Pa., were placed under arrest and taken to Frederick County Central Booking for processing.

Both are charged with possession of heroin, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of CDS administering equipment.
