Two Charged with Theft After Stealing Grandmother's Truck

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. - Two Washington Township residents are facing theft charges after police say they stole their grandmother's truck. 

Officers say the incident happened on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 5:07 p.m. along 10655 Amsterdam Road. 

The caller reported to police her truck has been taken without her permission between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. by her grandchildren. Police say the two suspects were later located in Waynesboro. 

Officers have charged Samantha Yeager, 20 and Donald Yeager Jr., 19, with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, conspiracy to commit unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft, and conspiracy to commit theft. 

Samantha was also charged with possession of synthetic marijuana and paraphernalia. Donald Yeager Jr. was also charged with possession of marijuana. 

Both are currently being held at the Franklin County Jail.
