Two Greencastle Men Arrested in Large Drug Bust

- GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Two Greencastle men are behind bars after officials with the Franklin County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at their home, finding heroin, marijuana and a stolen gun.

Officials say Jack Silvers Jr. and James Baker are both facing charges in the case. They allege that Silvers and Baker were getting large quantities of heroin in Maryland, bringing the drugs in to Pennsylvania and then selling it from their home and in the parking lots of several Antrim Township businesses.

Officials executed a search warrant at the men's home on Sherwood Drive on Wednesday where they found drugs, and two handguns, one which was reported stolen from Hagerstown.

Police also found scales, packaging materials and cash inside their home.

Both men are being held on $75,000 bond at the Franklin County Jail. District Attorney Matt Fogal says concerned citizens helped to tip police off as to what was happening.

On Thursday Fogal said, "This case is another testament to the vigilance of our community members. When concerned citizens provide us information related to illegal activity, we are able to effectively address and eliminate the activity."
