FREDERICK COUNTY, Va. - The Winchester Police Department arrested two juveniles on Monday for breaking into Virginia Avenue Charlotte Dehart Elementary School over the weekend.

Officers said the 16 and 17-year-old males, both of Winchester, Va., are charged with burglary and grand larceny. They were both taken to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center.

They said around 4 a.m. Sunday the two broke into the schools and stole electronic devices. School teachers reported that items in their classroom were gone through and other items were missing.

Surveillance pictures sent out helped detectives identify the two teens.
