Hagerstown, MD - Two people were taken into police custody along Pennsylvania Avenue Thursday afternoon in connection to burglary on Marsh Pike according to investigators with the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

Investigators said they responded to a burglary at the home around 11:55 Thursday morning.  They said the home had surveillance cameras inside and outside, which captured two people stealing electronics, jewelry and cash.

Around 3:30 Thursday afternoon, a Sheriff's Deputy observed a vehicle similar to the one captured on the surveillance footage on Pennsylvania Avenue, and initiated a traffic stop.  Two people were taken into custody without incident, according to officials.

Those two had not been charged with a crime as of Thursday night, but investigators said their investigation is on-going.
