Update: Four Arrested in BB&T Bank Robbery

BERRYVILLE, Va. - Officers with the Berryville Police Department say four Hagerstown residents have been arrested in connection to a bank robbery reported last week. 

The incident happened on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Berryville branch of the BB&T Bank. 

Police say through their investigation, several suspects were identified as being the parties responsible for the robbery. 

On Tuesday, May 27, 2014 warrants were obtained by the Berryville Police Department, naming four suspects allegedly involved in the crime. 

The four suspects were apprehended by members with the Washington County Sheriff's Office in Maryland. 

All four suspects, Willie Lee Johnson, 63, Curtis D. Briggs, 47, Crystal Marie Marcum, 33, and Melissa Dawn Degrange, 41, all of Hagerstown, Md., were charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. 

Each suspect is being held without bond at the Washington County Detention Center in Maryland pending extradition to Virginia.
