Update: Man Listed in Stable Condition in Hit and Run Incident

GREENE TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A Chambersburg woman is facing multiple charges after Pennsylvania State Police say she struck a man in her vehicle, then left the scene. 

Pennsylvania State Police said the victim, Roy E. Rife, 75, is listed in stable condition. He currently is suffering from a broken left leg with other minor injuries. 

The incident happened around 9:03 a.m. Thursday along Coffey Avenue at Opportunity Avenue in Greene Township, Franklin County. 

Troopers say the driver, identified as Stephanie Ann Osterman, 31, of Chambersburg, Pa., struck Rife as he was crossing the roadway in the crosswalk. 

Rife was flown to York Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition, police say. 

Osterman left the scene of the crash. She's charged with aggravated assault by vehicle, accidents involving death or personal injury, right of way of pedestrians in crosswalks, careless driving, reckless driving, duty to give information and render aid, immediate notice of accident to police department, false reports, and required financial responsibility. 

Troopers say Osterman is being held at the Franklin County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
