UPDATE: Police Identify Suspect in Interstate-81 Shootout with Trooper

- UPDATE 5:45 pm: Police have identified the shooter in Sunday morning's Interstate-81 shooting as 16-year-old Sean Sellers of Mifflinburg, PA. 

Pennsylvania State Police say Sellers stole a vehicle and a 22 caliber pistol. They say when the teen was pulled over, he fired a round in the direction of the state trooper.

Sellers is facing several charges, including criminal attempt homicide, criminal attempt homicide of a law enforcement officer and aggravated assault. Police say Sellers will be charged as an adult.

The trooper involved has been placed on limited duty pending a routine internal administrative investigation.

Interstate-81 southbound was shut down for about five hours starting at 7:00 a.m. as police investigated a shooting incident near exit 18 in Greene Township.

Pennsylvania State Police say there does not appear to be any injuries related to the shooting.

This incident is still under investigation, and investigators say the incident is unrelated to the I-81 homicide.
