HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The University System of Maryland in Hagerstown is set on a new five year plan to bring more students to the City.
USMH officials said their plan will hopefully bring in about 200 more students in five years. They said the plan involves expanding program offerings and adding more lab space.
To create the plan, USMH is currently conducting a needs assessment to determine what programs students are interested in, and what programs are needed to meet the needs of the Hagerstown community.
USMH has also recently changed its logo. Officials said the change was needed so residents would not get them confused with the University of Maryland in College Park, but as the regional higher education center of the University System of Maryland in Hagerstown.
