MCHENRY, MD - If you enjoy kayaking or canoeing, there's a new attraction in the area that you'll be interested in visiting.
The adventure sports center international in McHenry, Maryland is now open for business.
It features a manmade whitewater course. In just a few minutes, the rapids can go from a ripple to a rumble.
So whether you're an amateur or a pro, you'll be able to coast through the water.
"We wanted to create a place where people could come and watch Olympic level kayaking and canoeing and to experience first-hand that same water caliber those athletes are racing on," says Matt Taylor, director of operations for ASCI.
You can see some pros on the course at the National Championships in August and September.
