Brooke's House officially unveiled

The new location will be located off of Downsville Pike and sits on four acres

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Officials in Washington County unveiled the official location of Brooke’s House, a sober living facility for women.

Back in 2015, 19-year-old Brooke Simmers passed away from a heroin overdose. As a dream of hers, Brooke wanted to open up a sober living facility for women who struggle with addiction. After she passed, her parents came up with the idea of Brooke's House.

Brooke's House will be located off of Downsville Pike and sits on four acres of land. The new facility will include housing for up to 16 women and is set to begin construction at the end of the year.

Brooke’s House is also participating in the Washington County Gives fundraiser. For donations visit their website
