Virginia Dept. of Elections Makes Mailing Error

WHAG NEWS - Virginia’s Department of Elections accidentally sent up to 125,000 registered voters the wrong letter.

According to a press release from the department, the letter told voters to update their information, since they had moved out of state.

However, many of these voters only moved within the state of Virginia, not to another one.

The department of elections has said no voter will be removed from the roster based on receiving this letter.

However, anyone who did get the letter should verify their voter registration address.

You can do that by visiting the department’s website click here
