Gov. Justice signs medical marijuana bill into law

Marijuana will only be available in pill, oil and cream forms

WEST VIRGINIA - West Virginia is the 29th state to do it.

Medical marijuana is officially legalized in the Mountain State.

This afternoon, Governor Jim Justice signed the bill into law, but it will take some time to go into effect.

However, there are restrictions. Medical marijuana will not be available in smokable or edible plant form. Instead, it can be taken as pills, oils or in cream-form.

Supporters said the law is compassionate.
