Pet parade in Martinsburg deemed a 'success'

MARTINSBURG, W.V - An Easter pet parade was held, along with other contests on the Eve of Easter Saturday in Martinsburg.

The event was in its sixth year for the pet parade, where pets were dressed up in colorful clothes and the best-dressed pet won an award. The parade was held on Main Street and led by the Easter Bunny.

Main Street Martinsburg Executive Director Randy Lewis said that the event was a success.

“The event was very successful,” Lewis said. “The weather was beautiful. It’s a great way to show off our community.  We are thankful for everyone who came down and supported us.”
