Students jump behind wheels of different professions

Marlowe Elementary School hosts their annual Vehicle Day

FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - Students at Marlowe Elementary School got a chance to learn about new careers by jumping behind the wheels of different professions.

Each year, schools in Berkeley County host their annual Vehicle Day, where students get the chance to explore vehicles of the people who make an impact on the community.

At Marlowe Elementary School, students as early as pre-K met with first responders, postal workers and even got to jump inside of a tractor-trailer.

Overall, teachers are hoping this experience will expose them to future opportunities early on in life.

The next Vehicle Day will be held at Bedington Elementary School on May 23.
