Keyser sends 3 to College Football

 Keyser, WV- Three Keyser High School football players signed letters of intent on National Signing Day on Wednesday February 4th.  Linebacker Taige Redman signed with West Virginia University.  He was expected to sign with Ohio University, but early Wednesday morning West Virginia called him and said they found a scholarship if he was interested.  A first team all-state selection in 2008, he recorded 119 tackles, including 56 solo, 12 for loss and eight sacks. He had one interception returned for a touchdown, forced four fumbles and ran back one of his four fumble recoveries for a touchdown.

Runningback Jeremy Green signed a letter of intent to play at Ohio University.  His partner in crime in the backfield, Matt Wilmer signed a letter of intent to play at Division II Fairmont State.  The two runningbacks combined for over 3,5000 total yards in 2008, helping lead Keyser to a 10-1 record, the best season in team history.
