The summer stretch continues

TODAY: A bermuda high will continue to sit off the Atlantic coast bringing in unseasonably warm temperatures. It will also be slightly humid with highs in the mid 80s. We can't rule out an isolated shower, but much of us are dry.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with the possibility of some patchy fog late. Low around 60.

SATURDAY: A cold front to our west brings a warm push of air from the south with highs in the mid to upper 80s! The record high is 95 set in 1941. The day will be partly sunny and a bit humid.

SUNDAY: The cold front still remains to our west as a strong ridge of high pressure still remains in control. It's partly sunny and still warm with highs in the mid 80s.

MONDAY: The front finally is able to take over high pressure with a chance of some much needed showers. The remnants of Tropical Storm Karen will also get funneled to the north with the front squeezing out even more rain. Right now it looks like a soaking with up to an inch of rain possible.

TUESDAY: The front and whatever tropical moisture is leftover pushes to the east leaving us with a mix of clouds and sunshine. It's cooler with highs around 70.

WEDNESDAY: High pressure to our north will send in an easterly wind off the Atlantic which will make it cooler with a few extra clouds. High 70.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny and seasonable. Hi 72.

Enjoy your day! Alan
