Warmer days ahead

TODAY:A mild south wind will bump temperatures up into the low to mid 50s under a mostly cloudy sky.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and not that chilly with a low of 40. That's near our average high for this time of year.

SATURDAY: The winter solstice arrives at 12:11pm. It feels more spring-like with highs in the upper 50s. A shower is possible later in the day with lots of clouds around.
Areas of fog are also possible thanks to warmer air moving in over areas that have snowcover.

SUNDAY: Showers move in late morning into the afternoon, but it's mild with a high around 68! That would break the record which is 65 set back in 1990. Rainfall totals could amount to 1/4" to 1/2" by Monday morning.

MONDAY: The front moves offshore with colder air behind it with more clouds than sun. High of 46.

CHRISTMAS EVE: Partly cloudy, breezy and colder with highs in the mid 30s.

CHRISTMAS DAY: Mostly sunny and seasonably chilly with a high of 38.

THURSDAY: A blend of sun and clouds with a high of 40.

Enjoy your day! Alan
