Rain and a few thunderstorms arrive

TODAY: A potent cold front arrives with rain and thunderstorms arriving from 6-10am west to east. Some storms could contain gusty winds. Look for the rain to exit by 3pm this afternoon with partial clearing. Rainfall totals will be around a half inch to three quarters of an inch with some locally higher amounts possible. It's also breezy with winds up to 15 mph at times. Temperatures will be warmest this morning with them falling into the low to mid 60s this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Clear and much cooler with lows in the mid to upper 40s.

TUESDAY: Sunny and seasonable with highs in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY: Morning sunshine will give way to some afternoon clouds. High 67.

THURSDAY: A cut off low offshore may move west back towards the coast bringing clouds, cooler temperatures, and the chance for showers. High 64.

FRIDAY: We'll be watching the low off the coast. Right now we are keeping it dry and partly cloudy with highs in the mid 60s.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny and seasonable. High in the upper 60s.

SUNDAY: A mix of clouds and sunshine with a high of 68.
