TODAY: A cold front moving through brings morning rain with 1/4" to the west and up to 3/4" to the east. The rain tapers before noon with a mostly cloudy sky in the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s this morning with them slowly falling to the low 40s by evening.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and much colder with a low of 28.

CHRISTMAS EVE: An upper level disturbance overhead brings the chance for flurries and light snow in Western Maryland. No accumulation is expected.

CHRISTMAS DAY: Partly cloudy and cold with a high in the low to mid 30s.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny and seasonably chilly. The high 42.

FRIDAY: Sunny and cool with a high in the low 40s.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and a bit milder. The high 45.

SUNDAY: A blend of sunshine and clouds with temperatures remaining in the mid 40s.
