A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Frederick Co. in Maryland and Loudoun Co. in Virginia, Fulton and Franklin Co. in PA through tonight for small streams and creeks. Drenching downpours causing 1"-3" of rain could create localized flooding later today. Remember, never cross a flooded roadway.

TODAY: It's mostly cloudy and humid and with a moist southerly flow, expect scattered showers. The high 80.

TONIGHT: A few leftover showers mainly early on with lows in the upper 60s to near 70. Watch out for patchy fog late tonight.

TUESDAY: Peeks of sun with more scattered showers and downpours primarily in the afternoon.

WEDNESDAY: It's partly sunny and humid with a chance of thunderstorms, although not as widespread as earlier in the week. High 84.

THURSDAY: It's humid with a spotty thunderstorm for the 4th of July. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.

FRIDAY: More of the same with highs in the upper 80s. There is still a chance of a thunderstorm, mainly in the afternoon.

SATURDAY: Highs in the upper 80s with a chance of a few thunderstorms.

SUNDAY: A mix of clouds and sunshine. It's hot and still humid with a high near 90.
