TODAY: High pressure to the south will provide a warmer southwest wind with highs in the upper 40s to the north and low 50s to the south and west. We'll see sunshine with more high clouds building in during the afternoon.

FRIDAY: As a cold front approaches, expect more clouds than sun and above average highs in the upper 40s to low 50s.

SATURDAY: The winter solstice arrives at 12:11pm and it won't feel like winter with daytime highs in the low 50s. A cold front brings a chance of some showers later in the day.

SUNDAY: Rain arrives late morning into the afternoon, but it's mild with a high around 66! That could break the record which is 65 set back in 1990. Rainfall totals could amount to 1/2" to 1".

MONDAY: The front moves offshore with colder air behind it with clearing skies. High of 45.

CHRISTMAS EVE: Sunny, breezy and colder with highs in the upper 30s.

CHRISTMAS DAY: Partly cloudy and seasonably chilly with a high of 38.

Enjoy your day! Alan
