Follow Alan on Facebook and Twitter

TODAY: Areas of morning fog, then mostly cloudy, but warm for December. The high goes to the low to mid 60s with showers arriving this evening.

TONIGHT: Mild with scattered showers. Low 47-52.

FRIDAY: A wave of low pressure develops along a cold front with showers throughout the day. The steadiest rain will be in the late afternoon and evening. The high will be in the morning with upper 40s and temperatures will fall to the 30s by evening. If enough precipitation is left over, a few wet snowflakes are possible overnight before the precipitation ends as colder air moves in behind the front. No accumulation is expected.

SATURDAY: Behind the front, it turns colder with highs back into the 30s with limited sunshine.

SUNDAY: We'll be watching a low pressure to our south bringing a mix of snow and sleet by late morning that quickly changes over to a period of freezing rain in the afternoon. Some snow and sleet accumulation is possible and ice accumulation is likely leading to some slippery roads, especially untreated ones and on bridges and overpasses. Highs will only be in the low 30s.

MONDAY: The storm brings in milder air from the south, so any ice changes over to a cold rain. The rain will wash away any of the ice and snow that fell on Sunday. The high in the low 40s.

TUESDAY: The storm exits and we are left with lots of sunshine. It's colder and windy at times with a high of 32. Wind chills will be in the 20s.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy and cold with a high of 28.

Enjoy your day! Alan
