A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for Bedford, Fulton, Franklin and Adams counties until 10am for up to 2" of snow.

TODAY: A weak clipper passing by brings clouds and the chance of a passing rain or snow shower with highs in the upper 30s to near 40. Snow showers will continue in Western Maryland with 1"-3" expected through tonight.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy, cold and a bit blustery with a low of 24. Mountain snow showers will continue with light accumulations possible.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny, cold and blustery with a high of 34.

THURSDAY: High pressure overhead brings a mix of sun and clouds and warmer temperatures. The high 43.

FRIDAY: As a cold front approaches, expect more clouds than sun and above average highs in the upper 40s.

SATURDAY: The winter solstice arrives at 12:11pm and it won't feel like winter with daytime highs in the low 50s. A cold front brings a chance of some showers later in the day.

SUNDAY: A few showers possible, but it's mild with a high around 60!

MONDAY: The front moves offshore with colder air behind it. High of 43.
