TODAY: It will be hot and humid with highs around 90. There is a chance for thunderstorms with heavy downpours and lightning this afternoon and evening.

TONIGHT: A t'shower early, otherwise partly cloudy, warm and muggy with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s.

WEDNESDAY: The second heat wave of the year will be here with 3 consecutive day at or above 90. Make sure you drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Also, wear light weight, light colored clothing. Don't forget about your pets outdoors.  We'll see a mix of sunshine and clouds. Still hot and steamy with an isolated thunderstorm possible. High 90.

THURSDAY: Still hot and humid with a high of 90. Numerous showers and thunderstorms will pop up mainly in the afternoon.

FRIDAY: More of the same, but the heat wave ends with highs in the mid to upper 80s. A low pressure and cold front will be the focus for more showers and scattered downpours.

SATURDAY: Highs in the mid 80s with a chance of a few thunderstorms.

SUNDAY: Another chance of showers and downpours, but it's not a washout. High 84.

MONDAY: Partly cloudy and still unsettled with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon again. High 84.
