WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect until midnight for Allegany County MD, Morgan, Hampshire, Hardy, Eastern Grant and Mineral Counties in WV, Frederick, Shenandoah and Page Counties in VA. A coating to an inch of snow is possible mainly in the higher elevations.

WINTER STORM WARNING in effect for Garrett, Western Mineral and Grant Counties.

TODAY: The nor'easter pushes up into New England, but still brings some morning showers followed by snow showers in the afternoon as cold air comes in on a gusty northwesterly wind. A few spots could see a quick coating to maybe an inch, especially in the higher elevations. Winds will gust up to 40mph at times this afternoon with highs in the mid 30s. West of the Allegheny front, 3"-6" of snow is expected by tonight with some locally higher amounts possible.

THANKSGIVING DAY: It's partly sunny and gusty at times early. It will be cold with a high of 31. Wind chills will be in 20s.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and cold with a high of 36.

SATURDAY: It's partly cloudy and chilly. The high 36.

SUNDAY: Clouds and sun with a high of 43.

MONDAY: A mix of clouds and sunshine and warming up a bit to 46.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny and near normal temperatures. High 46.
