AMBER ALERT: Police Found Missing Girl from Schuylkill County, PA

Pennsylvania State Police have found a missing girl that prompted an Amber Alert from Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania
Schuylkill County, PA (WHAG/WBRE) - 11:45 PM Thursday Update:

Peter Tarbox & Alexandria Long were found shortly before 11:00 P.M. Thursday Evening.  They were found at a gas station near Tarbox's hometown, Norwood, New York by the New York State Police.  There was another female in the car with the two, a relative of Tarbox's, and Alexandria is safe.

Police say, Tarbox is the ex-boyfriend of the mother of Alexandria.  The FBI is involved in the investigation, and the Chief of Police for Butler Township in Schuylkill County, PA tells us that he is not sure whether he will be prosecuted federally or he will be brought back to Pennsylvania.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Pennsylvania State Police have issued an Amber Child Abduction Alert for the Butler Township Police Department, Schuylkill County. 

On August 15, 2013, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Alexandria Jade Long, 10 yrs old, 4 ft 10 inches tall, 100 pounds, with short brown hair, hazel eyes, and wearing black wired framed glasses was abducted from her residence in Gordon, PA.

She was abducted by Peter Tarbox a 39 year old white male with brown hair. He is driving a green Saab sedan with unknown New York registration. It is believed Tarbox is taking the victim to New York State. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police by dialing 911.
