Bank Robbery Reported in Charles Town, Suspect on the Loose

Troopers with the West Virginia State Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened in Charles Town Tuesday morning.
CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Troopers with the West Virginia State Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened in Charles Town Tuesday morning. 

Investigators say a man entered the United Bank located on Jefferson Crossing just before 11:30 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money. He then fled the area. 

The man is described as 5'8" to 5'10", heavy set, with a scruffy face and glasses. He was wearing a tan cap with blue pants with white strips down the side.
