Barbara Ingram School for the Arts Prepare for Latest Show

There are some major lights, cameras and a whole lot of action happening at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts, as they are putting on "Pullman Car Hiawatha" written by Thornton Wilder.

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - There were some major lights, cameras and a whole lot of action happening at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts Wednesday, as they prepare to perform Pullman Car Hiawatha, written by Thornton Wilder.

Directed by Laurie McCants, students had the opportunity to learn all about becoming an artist through her vast career as an actress.

After spending many hours rehearsing with the guest artist, many say Mccants has inspired them to always aim high in the world of performing and fine arts.

"This week we are performing Pullman Car Hiawatha. It's not normally performed because it's very complicated but we get the opportunity to perform it," said Joshua Andrews, a student at BISFA.

The performances are set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They're also on December 8 at 2:30 p.m. at the black box theater.
