Bicyclist Struck by Vehicle in Hagerstown

Police say the bicyclist was coming out of an alley on N. Mulberry Street and was struck by a passing vehicle.
HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Police are investigating after a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in downtown Hagerstown Wednesday night. 

It happened around 7:30 p.m. on N Mulberry Street. 

Police say the bicyclist was coming out of an alley when a vehicle came down the road and struck the biker.

Witnesses on scene told WHAG the bicyclist looked to be a young boy, around 10-years-of age. 

Hagerstown Police say the biker was taken to Meritus Medical Center for treatment. No word on the extent of their injuries at this time.
