WINCHESTER, Va. - Employees of one local business helped to bring the magic of the holiday season to families in Winchester.

On Wednesday, Green Bay Packaging made a donation to the Timbrook Food and Toy Drive, which will benefit more than 40 families. Officials with the Winchester Police Department say over the past six weeks employees at the packaging company held local challenges and gathered donations.

The group was able to present the food and toy drive with hundreds of cans of soup, hats, gloves, scarves, socks, food, personal care items, stocking stuffers, toys, 100 Christmas stockings and a monetary donation of $105.

Officials say all 85 employees at Green Bay Packaging were involved in the collection. They say all of the items donated will be sorted on Friday, December 13 at 12:30 p.m. and will be delivered around 8 a.m. Saturday.
