FULTON COUNTY, Pa. - A Michigan couple remains in critical condition after they were flown to the hospital last week after being entrapped inside their vehicle on Interstate-70 in Fulton County.

As we've reported, John Pincumbre, 69, and his wife Linda were driving down the interstate in a construction zone where their vehicle veered over into a closed lane and struck a parked Pennsylvania DOT dump truck.

This picture above shows the severity of the couple's damaged 2004 Saturn.

In a statement written on Facebook the couples son thanked fire and rescue officials and first responders on the scene. He said, "It is because of them that they are still with us." Check WHAG's Facebook page to see the quote in its entirety.
