TODAY: A cold front draped over our region and a wave of low pressure will be the focus for the chance of an afternoon shower. The best chance of getting wet will be Western Maryland, the Potomac Highlands and Shenandoah Valley. It's mostly cloudy with a high of 83.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with an isolated shower possible. Patchy fog late with lows in the mid 60s.

TUESDAY: The front sags a little farther south, but we will have a chance of a spotty thunderstorm in the afternoon. It's humid with highs in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY: Still unsettled with a hit or miss downpour in the afternoon. The high 83.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny and humid with another chance of showers and thunderstorms. High 81.

FRIDAY: A blend of sun and clouds with an isolated shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. High 81.

SATURDAY: Clouds and sun with a slight chance of a pop up shower. Much of us will remain dry with highs around 80.

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy with a high around 80.
