A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect from 2pm this afternoon until midnight tonight.

TODAY: Mostly cloudy and chilly with snow arriving late this afternoon and evening. Expect light snow in Western Maryland arriving early this afternoon with a chance of rain or snow showers for most by 6pm this evening. The high 38.
Generally 1"-3" with by late tonight. The highest amounts will be seen in Western Maryland with 3"-6" expected there. A coating to an inch is expected south of Winchester.

TONIGHT: Light snow comes to an end by 4am, but it turns very cold and windy with lows in the mid to upper teens. Wind chills will be between 5-15 degrees below zero! Western Maryland will have wind chills as cold as 20 below zero. Garrett County is under a Wind Chill Advisory from 7pm this evening through noon Friday.

FRIDAY: The storm departs, it's mostly sunny and windy with highs in the upper teens to near 20. Wind chills will be dangerously cold with them dropping below zero at times.

SUNDAY: Look for more clouds ahead of our next storm. It brings a chance of a shower with a high around 40.

MONDAY: A low pressure brings rain that could end as a brief period of snow. High 40, but temperatures will fall into the 30s by the afternoon.

TUESDAY: Our next Arctic blast arrives with highs in the teens and lows in the single digits.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and cold with highs in the low 20s.
