Barn Fire Kills About 25 Calves

Dispatchers with Franklin County Fire and Rescue say only about two or three calves made it out alive.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A fire in Franklin County, Pennsylvania Saturday morning killed about 25 calves and sent a firefighter to the hospital.

It happened around 11 a.m. at a barn at 3966 Funk Road in Chambersburg.

Dispatchers with Franklin County Fire and Rescue say only about two or three calves made it out alive.

A firefighter was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor burns.
