Berkeley County Sheriff's Office Investigate Armed Robbery

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened early Saturday morning at the Sky Room Lounge on Rock Cliff Drive.
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Sky Room Lounge on Rock CLiff Drive Saturday around 1:56 a.m.

When a deputy arrived on the scene, there was a black primer Chevy Blazer coming off of Rock Cliff Drive onto Hedgesville Road. There were two white males inside the vehicle. They have been identified as Thomas Brashear and Clayton Pruitt.

Victims at Sky Room Lounge told deputies one of the men wore a bandana covering his face and displayed a handgun. The bartender was held at gun point and handed over money.

The vehicle then drove onto Interstate-81 southbound where they were later stopped by the deputy near mile marker 13.

Several items were found inside the vehicle such as: a loaded 9 millimeter Glock 19 handgun, two walkie talkies, a handwritten Military Style Assault Plan with an exit strategy to include a check list, and a large amount of money.

Pruitt was arrested for armed robbery and Brashear was arrested for conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Both Pruitt and Brashear were transported to Eastern Regional Jail awaiting arraignment.
