Bryan's Friday Evening Forecast: 8/15/14

After lots of sunshine on Thursday, much of the same was on tap for us on Friday, but changes are coming this weekend. Meteorologist Bryan Schuerman has the details in his forecast for Friday August 15th, 2014.

Weather Synopsis: Today’s been another fantastic day with lots of sunshine and cooler than average temperatures, with very few of us again hitting that 80 degree mark, but for most on Saturday we should get into the lower 80’s, and that begins the changes in our weather pattern.

On Saturday, we will continue with more sunshine, but then as we get into the last half of the weekend, we will bring back the heat and humidity, as well as the chances for showers and thunderstorms.  With a frontal boundary draped across the area, and a few waves of low pressure and/or upper level disturbances moving through the area, we will keep the chances for showers and thunderstorms around the area. This will also bring back the humidity, making it feel a little more humid for just about everyone.  As of right now, I think that the best chances for showers and thunderstorms is scattered for Sunday and Monday. Then, with more cloud cover, I think that the chances for showers and thunderstorms will be just about widespread.

As we work into the latter half of next week, we will continue with the chances of showers and thunderstorms, with temperatures back to near average into the low to mid 80’s.  With Washington County Public Schools going back on Wednesday of next week, we’re going to need the umbrellas, especially in the afternoon and evening.

Have a great weekend and keep an eye to the sky as we get into the latter half of the weekend. I’m taking some time off next week on Vacation, Meteorologist Stephanie Sine, and Lou Scally will be filling in for me next week.

See you Friday Night on WHAG News at 5:00, 6:00 and 7:00 PM!
