Weather Synopsis: Boy does it feel like summer outside the last few days, even though the official start to summer is not until this weekend! Looks like we’re going to keep this hazy, hot and humid forecast on the way for the next seven days!

As we see a frontal system approach the region tomorrow, we will continue our chances for showers and thunderstorms, some of which could be severe. Damaging winds, large hail and heavy rainfall will be the primary threats on Wednesday Afternoon and Evening. The cold front will stall over the region for the end of the week and weekend, so temperatures will not be in the 90’s but will drop into the 80’s, and we will continue the chances for showers and thunderstorms through the weekend and into the early portions of next week.

Should rain continue to fall over the same regions from this week into the weekend, we’ll continue see if we will have any water management problems.

Stay WEATHER AWARE as we get into the next few days, as well as keep an eye on your local creeks and streams, as well as rivers through the weekend.

I’ll see you on WHAG News at 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM tonight.
