Weather Synopsis: It’s feeling more like summer outside, but some changes to that are coming tonight and into Thursday Morning, in the form of showers and thunderstorms.  Here’s the bottom line for tonight…

* Showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening, primarily along and south of the Mason/Dixon Line, primarily in the Potomac Highlands and the Shenandoah Valley. Some storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds being the primary threat.

* Showers and thunderstorms are likely late tonight overnight into Thursday Morning. Some of those storms could also be strong to severe with damaging winds being the primary threat.

* The cold front will clear the area during the morning hours on Thursday, and that will lead to improving conditions from Thursday Afternoon right on through the weekend.

Our next chance of showers and thunderstorms comes late Sunday and into Monday before drier weather moves in for the middle of next week.

I will be presenting student awards tonight at North Hagerstown High School for Senior Awards Night, Lou will be filling in for me on WHAG News at 7:00 PM, but I will be back for the 11:00 PM News. Stay with our social media as well, I will be posting should severe weather break before the 11:00 PM News.
